When you arrive at the 35-acre (14-hectare) market in Bangkok, located next to Jatujak Plaza, your guide will provide shopping tips and advise you on the best sections to explore, depending on your interests. With more than 15,000 stalls selling a wide variety of goods, from limited-edition clothing to handmade Thai furniture, there’s something for everyone!

Then, strike out on your own throughout the market, where you can browse to your heart’s desire, with plenty of opportunities to stop for food and beverages (own expense). At Chatuchak Market you’ll find skilled Thai iced tea makers practicing their trade. Stroll along the covered walkways and take in the sights as the locals haggle with vendors over an amazing collection of merchandise. If you’d like, step inside the adjacent J.J. Mall, whose three floors offer an assortment of wares as well as local eateries. Wish you had extra room in your luggage to bring wares home? You're in luck: a number of onsite companies will send your purchases abroad (for a reasonable fee).
