The hutongs wind through local residences, exposing years of tradition and history. Your tour guide knows the name of each alley, and will share the unique history hidden within every single one of them. You’ll learn the code to identify the resident’s rank and prosperity. You’ll explore the courtyards, antique street, the lakes in Beijing and the Drum Tower. Riding a bike among the hutongs to explore the civilian Beijing, you will be telling the story of growth and change and knowing the daily local life from ancient to present from your guide. In the end of this tour,you will cycle around the Forbidden City or Tian'anmen Square and finish this tour at the bike shop in Beijing.

This is really great fun as you pedal through the crowded hutongs or the large avenues. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the biking cafe really lovely! Highly recommended!

I did this tour in the evening, which was a pleasant time to do it since, as well as the nice temperature, I got to see people enjoying their evening time. Riding through the alleys was lovely and riding past Tianamen Square at night was surreal. The guide gave good information and led well around an enjoyable course. Highly recommended.
