Your private tour guide will come to pick you up from your hotel in the morning, and head up to Beijing train station to enjoy a wonderful local train experience to Huairou train station (1 hour). Then, transfer to Xiangshuihu Scenic Area. You will see the villages, towns, and beautiful views along the way.

Upon arrival, follow your tour guide to a valley, and keep going up where you can see beautiful waterfall, pools, trees, flowers and etc. Then, you will see an intersection, one to the Dragon King Temple (100 meters) and one to the LvAnLing Great Wall (1km). Suggest you to visit the Dragon King Temple first as you can see wellspring, and it's very cool in Summer. Then go back to the intersection where you can start hiking on the Great Wall. You will reach to the top after 20 minutes.

For lunch time, you can either choose to have a lunch at local farmer's home or you bring your own lunch. First the first option, you can actually pick your own veggie from the farm directly, and they are 100% organic! There is also an opportunity for some fruit picking fun if you like.

After lunch, your tour guide will take you to another section of Great Wall, and then you might have time to visit Ming Tombs on your way back to Beijing. If time allows, you can stop by to stop by famous Olympic Stadium Bird Nest and Water Cube during this trip. Have your camera ready and take some nice shots!

The end of tour, your tour guide will send you back to your hotel.

I had a great time at this tour. Storm was a very caring guide who planned an extraordinary private tour, which was really no typical tourist trip. He showed me very local places, told me fascinating stories about them, and drove me to some explicit areas to see and walk on the great wall. Loved it!
