You’ll be picked up from your Boston hotel in the morning and taken on a comfortable drive by air-conditioned coach through the New England countryside. Experience the beauty of this amazing region during autumn as you travel amongst gently rolling hills awash with vibrant reds, oranges, yellows, browns and greens. On board, your guide will detail the changing colors of the foliage around you as you tour Boston.
Travel past quiet ponds and lakes, centuries-old farms, vast prairies, weathered roadside taverns and unique colonial churches. Stop for coffee at a local coffee shop in Groton (own expense), pass Willard Brook State Forest, a Massachusetts state park located in Ashby and Townsend about 50 miles (80 km) from Boston. Continue to Ashby Common, a small park and church located in a quiet neighborhood, for more photo opportunities.

Next, visit a quaint restaurant nestled in the heart of the mountains in New Hampshire to stretch your legs, wander around at your leisure, and enjoy a buffet lunch (included). Continue to the small New Hampshire town of Peterborough for another scenic photo stop before finishing your afternoon with a visit to a local farm stand. Items from the store may be purchased at your own expense.
After your tour, continue enjoying the scenery on your way back to your hotel, arriving around 6pm.

This tour is seasonal and only operates from September through October.

Tour guide and driver where really knowledgeable and they stopped at extra places than we expected. Eventhough the leaves had not all turned to autumn colours this was equally brilliant as it showed these colours off better. Lunch was a little disappointing as could not cater for all dietary requirements in our group but did not ruin our day.

I just happened to pick a bad year for color . or not the right time. but the guide was so nice in stopping along the road when he saw a bit of color to take pictures. So he went out of his way to try and find it. but the route was beauitiful. A lot of little bodies of water had the color been there would have been perfect. lunch by the way was not your typical buffet. it was a lovely selection of good food

I went during the the second week of October and you can already see the changing of the leaves. Maybe if I waited two more weeks, I could have seen more but regardless it was an awesome experience. The bus driver Brian was knowledgeable and a nice driver.
