Sandor was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and really helped us put the history together. Also he is a really nice person
We recently visited Budapest with a general tour but wanted more of a Jewish experience so we booked this tour through Viator. There was a larger group for the Basic Tour but only two of us continued on for the Extended Tour. Our guide Barbara was excellent and very personable. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Jews in Budapest and really all of Hungary. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the time with her.
Our wonderful guide Abel, was amazing. The tour was comprehensive, moving, sad and gratifying. We also learned a lot about Hungarian history and how the Jewish community was affected during different periods. We highly recommend this excellent tour.
Guide was great. Quite young, but nonetheless, very professional. He did a great job keeping a very diverse group engaged.
Great tour. The tour guide had a lot of information new to us. She was very kind also. We learned many things about the jewish religion and culture.
The guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. Very interesting. I would have liked it to be more extensive.
Visiting the Jewish Museum, Dohany Synagogue and cemetery was a highlight of our Budapest stay. We are Jewish, but learned so much that we didn't know.
Petra was our guide, and she was outstanding !!! Personalized the tour, with personal stories of her own heritage, which made us feel very special.Enthusiastic and very willing and patient to answer any questions.
Knowledgeable guide and a very informative tour
The best tour ever. The tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Jewish people in Hungary. At the end of the tour we enjoyed hot chocolate and dessert. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent tour - the guide was very informative and helpful.
