Meet your private guide in the center of Budapest at your preferred time, and receive an orientation session on your self-balancing, two-wheeled, electric Segway. Your tour is customizable, so talk to your guide about any points of interest you’d like to see on the way, bearing in mind that some areas of the city are inaccessible to Segways.

Once you feel ready, put on your helmet and set off. Weave around the elegant streets of Pest and admire the stately buildings as your guide shares interesting facts and tales about Budapest’s history and Hungarian culture.

Your tour is customizable, so discuss the option of tailoring the route to focus on any aspect of the city or sights of particular interest to you.

Pass the Opera House and breeze along tree-lined Andrassy Avenue, the main lifeblood of Pest. Cruise along the Danube Promenade, the tree-dotted walkway along the Danube River. Trace the riverside and admire the turrets and spires of the UNESCO-listed Buda Castle district rising from the opposite bank.

Travel past the Hungarian Parliament Building, one of the world’s largest, and soak up views of Margaret Island and the Margaret Bridge. Then, turn back into the heart of Pest and ride past leafy Liberty Square and St Stephen’s Basilica, the domed church dedicated to Hungary’s first king.

Glide to City Park and see Heroe's Square, Budapest’s largest square. As you stand in this vast public space, take in the imposing Millennium Monument, with its colonnades and statues. Hear from your guide how this majestic monument celebrates Hungary’s Magyar kings and the tribal chieftains who led the Magyars to Hungary.

Afterward, work your way back to the start point, where your tour finishes.

Please note: The order of sightseeing as described above is a sample tour, you can decide the main focus of your sightseeing. Due to the limits of the Segway (high curbs and outdoor surfaces) and the city’s regulations on certain pedestrian zones, some areas will not be allowed to access on Segway. Guides reserves the right to make a judgement call on which areas are accessible.

Tour goes in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (we encourage our guests to bring hats and gloves to keep the extremities warm during colder months). Refunds/exchanges are not given due to unfavourable weather conditions.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing over 280llbs/130kg or under 90llbs/40kg.
Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride and forfeit their right to do the tour, without refund.
For the safety of the mother and baby we do not allow pregnant women to participate.
Insurance Waiver and Damage Deposit: Insurance requires everyone to complete a liability waiver (children under 18 years must have an adult sign for them).
