This tour was Amazing! Maurico was our tour guide and it was amazing. He was warm, friendly, knowledge and fun. He is also Mayan so he taught and showed us ancient spots that are not in the history books. It's a personal tour so they pick you up in a Mercedes Van. My best friend and I loved the exclusivity. It also worked out in our favor because I broke my charger at the hotel and after the tour my phone was at 4%. Maurico drove to 2 cell phone stores to ensure I had a charger then plugged it in so I could get some charge on the way back to the resort!Again I say awesome. If you like to learn and have fun I highly highly recommend this tour! Thank you Maurico for making our experience memorable!

Wonderful Tour. Tour guide has over 20 years experience - great knowledge, friendly and courteous. Great food at buffet - local food, taco bar, lime soup etc, Chichen Itza is a MUST. Then, when a little baked out from the heat - you go to a sink hole = Cenotes and cool down with a swim in a historic large pool dropping down 100 yards into the ground. This is why you travel.

This tour was put on my Mayaland Tours. I was not a fan. It was not awful but not great. 20 percent of the information given is old and no longer what people in the field of anthropology/archaeology believe. Also, the guide was not the friendliest. Also, the tour was supposed to be English but turns out to be Spanish/English, where only 40 percent of the time the guide is speaking English. Also, they speak of an exclusive room at the hotel on the grounds. This is pure BS. There is no such thing. Also, there is no true time to do much at the hotel other than eat lunch. You would do yourself a solid by going to another company for this tour. Chichen Itza itself is a good place to go and see what the Mayan culture is all about.

Expected a stop at a cenote only to be told that there won't be any visits to a cenote to then be surprised that half the group got to go during the free time in Chichen itza. Guide was not interested in explaining anything in English and was focused on the Spanish speaking tour members. Not worth it

This was a very good tour. We were a party of 14 with 8 Jr high and high school kids. The shuttle bus arrived at the hotel on time and took us straight to Chichen Itza. The tour was very good and the sites were amazing. However, there is no place to buy water... We only had a few bottles of water with us and it quickly ran out. The kids were completely dehydrated by noon and we headed for lunch. After lunch, although we had the option to head back into Chichen Itza, we declined and decided to rehydrate and stay cool. Our guide Tino it was short for a longer name was very knowledgable. Although he was very good at informing us of the Mayan civilization and culture, he started to talk about current U.S. politics... which I didn't appreciate. It would be better for the guides to not talk about their personal views of current world politics and just stick with informing us of the ancient civilization. Water was offered to us on the bus ride back... but it would have been better if it was offered when we arrived at Chichen Itza. Chichen Itzá is an experience everyone should have and I highly recommend it... although maybe next time with the swim in the Cenote.
