Your cooking ambassador will guide you through the basic steps to serve either lunch or dinner, the Pantawan Cooking School has been established with the prime reason to give aspirational chefs and the basics in Thai cooking. Set in an old Thai house in the heart of Chiang Mai, the course will commence with an introduction to the team and what they have in store for you to prepare and sample at the end of your half day journey through spices, herbs, vegetables and much more. Where else to start than at the local wet market, where customers are introduced to the ingredients they will be using for the hours to come. Each upcoming master chef will be assigned to his / her own cooking station, provided with all the utensils needed to cut, mash and stir the presented recipes to perfection and all this under the watchful eye of your Pantawan support team. The cooking class can be adjusted to individual needs including making vegetarian dishes: kindly inform us in advance.

At the end of the course, it is trying time! Together with the head chef and other participants, sampling your own creation for either lunch or dinner end a great half a day learning the tricks and tips of Thai cuisine.

This tour is operated on joined / Seat-In-Coach basis only with English-speaking guide.
Transfer services are only provided for customers who have booked accommodation within a 3-kilometer radius from downtown Chiang Mai’s city canal; guests outside this 3—kilometer radius are requested to arrange transportation from and to the cooking school on own arrangement.
A minimum number of guests are stated for this excursion; many of our tours do not have limitations on group size, depending on the availability of seats and other factors. We regret that we are not able to communicate in advance about this.
This class is perfect for the beginning cook: it may not be suited for the more experienced client.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 48 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 48 hours may be on request.
In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 48 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
We highly recommend not bringing young children on this tour due to the nature of this excursion. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any discomfort to the child during the cooking class should you bring infants and children.
