This is the most comprehensive of our food tours and offers a unique insight into the Danish cuisine, the history and the recent changes it has undergone.

Stop At: Torvehallerne, Frederiksborggade 21 Israel's Square, Copenhagen 1360 Denmark

Here we will have several delicious tasting stops such as Michelin level cheese and organic chocolate. This is where the tour starts and ends.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Botanical Gardens (Botanisk Have), Gothersgade 128, Copenhagen 1353 Denmark

We will talk about the wild plants and their importance to Danish cuisine as well as the social project being undertaken inside the gardens.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Aamanns Deli & Takeaway, Øster Farimagsgade 10, 2100 København, Denmark

We will have specially prepared smørrebrød (open faced sandwiches), the absolute best that Copenhagen has to offer of this most traditional dish.

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Rosenborg Castle, Oster Voldgade 4A, Copenhagen 1350 Denmark

There will be one of the best opportunities of any tour to take pictures of this beautiful castle.

Pass By: Geological Museum, Ostervoldgade 5, Copenhagen Denmark

We will walk past this museum and have a chance to take a photo with their 10.000 year old meteorite.

Pass By: Rundetarn, Koebmagergade 52A, Copenhagen 1150 Denmark

We will pass by this most famous landmark and hear about its history.

Stop At: Nørrebro Bryghus, Ryesgade 3, 2200 København, Denmark

We will try 3 of their best craft beers and typical Danish snacks to go with them.

I had a great time on this tour- 4 hours during which we visited 8 different stops for snacks/food as well as seeing several beautiful areas of the city. The food was delicious, great portion sizes, I ended the tour feeling completely full but not over-stuffed! Susie was our guide and she was fantastic- amazing knowledge of not only the food scene, but also the city and its history. Highly recommend!

Toured with Olivia who was great. Gave us a good history of the vendors and their foods. The tastes we had were very good and essentially gave you a very good lunch so have a light breakfast. We did not have dinner after this tour.

Maria was the tour guide. She was wonderful. There was quite a bit more walking than I expected. Maria made it fun. Would have liked more food and maybe a taste of Aquafit included.

This tour was the highlight of my trip: excellent food, an excellent walking route and great company. The host, Alex, was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food stops are delicious and considering it’s quite a lengthy tour, I would say it is excellent value. Thank you!

We had Kristina as our tour guide. She's great! I couldn't believe how much food and alcohol came on this tour - a cheese snack plate and a rye biscuit mustard, licorice, caramel, snaps tasting all in Torvehallerne. Then it was off to Aamanns for a tasting of FOUR smorrebrod. There was a walk to beehives by the botanical garden, then a longer walk to Norrebro Bryghus for beer tasting and snacks!. Then we headed back to the area by the Round Tower for a Danish hotdog, then to a traditional candy shop. We ended up back in Torvehallerne for chocolate at Summerbird. So much food! So worth it.
