ATV Tour to Maras Moray from Cusco

Stop At: Moray, Maras 08655 Peru

We started the adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 08:00 approximately, to transfer for about 50 minutes to the Cruzpata area, where our guide and ATVs will be waiting for us with the necessary equipment.

In Cruzpata our guide will give us some instructions and we will practice with ATVs for a few minutes before leaving for Moray, archaeological site from Inca time, according to some historians and archaeologists was used as an experimental laboratory of the different products of different parts of the Tahuantinsuyo as the kiwicha, potato, etc.

After visiting Moray we will continue on our ATVs to Maras passing through trails, Huaypo lagoon, Ttiobamba colonial church and extensive pampas, in Maras we can appreciate its beautiful plaza and colonial church.

We will leave the ATVs near the town of Maras and we will walk to the salt mines of Maras. Here we can appreciate hundreds of salt deposits that are used today by local people who sell it to help their economy.

After our visit we will return to where we left the four-wheel drive to return to Cruzpata from where we will transfer to the city of Cusco.
