I recently visited Dubai staying at JBR. We purchased the hop on hop off bus tour however Dubai is too big for this to be useful. For a visit to Burj Khalifa from JBR you must catch 3 buses on 3 different lines taking hours and hours to arrive in which is only a short 20 minute taxi ride. My advice is to tour Dubai separately on individual tours as you downs too much time on buses to not really see much.
I gave the rating as average because we were unable to do all the routes. We only did one route. The one that we did, was very good. Hop on Hop Off tours are the way to go because you see so much in very little time. I just wished we were able to do the other routes as well.
We had a very long day, taking 3 of the bus lines all across the city. It was very good value; the bus was clean; the air conditioned cabin upstairs fabulous in the high heat. Commentary was OK.
