Vårt første stopp er møtestedet. Vi starter kl. 10.00 fra Amerling-fontenen. Beliggenheten er Brsalje 2, ved siden av gavebutikken Dubravka, utenfor de gamle bymurene. Ta kontakt med oss hvis du trenger hjelp til å finne posisjonen, eller hvis du har spørsmål om transport fra hotellet ditt. Du kjenner igjen guide vår som holder en blå paraply. Vi har lagt til et bilde av paraplyen i bildegalleriet. Guiden vil sjekke reservasjonen din der, og gir deg en oversikt over dagen, presentere seg selv og forklare kort om stedene vi skal besøke under denne turen. På tre av stedene koster det litt ekstra for inngangsbilletten: Lovrijenac borg (50 kunas), Lokrum-øya (150 kunas) og Trsteno arboretum (50 kunas) – i alt 250 kunas per person. Vårt forslag er å ha pengene klar ved starten av turen og gi dem til guiden, fordi dette går raskere og er mer praktisk. Dermed trenger du heller ikke å vente i kø – guiden vil gjøre det for deg. Etter at hele gruppen er tilstede, kan vi begynne på dagen full av severdigheter og eventyr!

Stopper ved: Fort Lovrijenac, Od Tabakarije 29, Dubrovnik 20000 Kroatia

Det fantastiske Røde fort, Fort Lovrijenac, ligger på en klippetopp. Man må gå noen trapper for å komme til toppen, men når du kommer frem, er det garantert verdt turen. I galleriet kan du se noen bilder av utsikten fra Lovrijenac slott. Du trenger ikke å stresse for å nå toppen, og guiden vil la alle gå i sitt eget tempo. Ved inngangen dekker vi billettprisen. Under Lovrijenac ligger Pile-bukta, som ble brukt for Blackwater Bay-slaget med mange spennende scener.

Vi drar til Lokrum med ferje, som tar ca. 15 minutter i én retning med båt. Den fantastiske, frodige øya Lokrum ble brukt som byen Qarth i Game of Thrones. Det absolutte høydepunktet for hver GOT-fan ligger skjult på den lille øya – nemlig jerntronen, hvor du kan ta uforglemmelige bilder av deg selv som hersker over De syv riker. Vi tar en liten pause på øya der du kan slappe av med noe å spise (det er to restauranter og en snackbar på øya, eller du kan ta med deg egen piknik), eller ta deg en svømmetur om du vil. Hvis dette er tilfellet, må du huske å ta med håndkle og badedrakt. Det er ikke tillatt å røyke eller ta med kjæledyr på øya. Det finnes heller ingen overnattingsmuligheter på Lokrum. Etter en kort sightseeingsrunde sammen med guiden, vil du få omtrent en time for deg selv på øya. Viktig merknad: noen ganger kan ikke båten gå på grunn av dårlig vær, og dette kan vi dessverre ikke kontrollere. Hvis dette skulle skje, vil guiden gi deg instruksjoner om hvordan turen skal fortsette.

Stopper ved: Trsteno Arboretum, Potok 20, Trsteno 20235 Kroatia

Skjult botanisk hage i den sjarmerende landsbyen Trsteno. Du kommer deg dit via en komfortabel buss som vi har organisert. Så snart du kommer fra Lokrum til gamlebyen, vil guiden vise deg til bussen (fra porten i gamlebyen og dit tar det ca. 10–15 minutter med sakte gange til fots), og fortsetter turen sammen med deg. Det tar omtrent 30 minutter å kjøre fra Dubrovnik til Trsteno. Arboretet var hagen i King’s Landing i Game of Thrones fordi den har mange planter og trær og det alltid er behagelig og mildt, selv på de varmeste sommerdagene.

Stopper ved: Mount Srđ, Dubrovnik Kroatia

Dette er bonusen vi tilbyr gjestene våre. Selv om det ikke ble spilt inn majestetiske Game of Throne-scener på toppen, får du en fantastisk utsikt over Dubrovnik fra Srdj. Andrea is a fantastic tour guide. Not only knowledgeable about Game of Thrones but also the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. We learnt a lot about the country from her. She is easy to understand and was able to answer all of our questions. We chose the 7hr experience and it was a fun day even though there was a bit of rain.

If you are a GOT fan this is a must. Yes, there’s shorter tours but this one takes you to so many places around Dubrovnik to show you all the different locations the filming took place. We went to 6 different locations and Andrea was excellent in telling us all the details that happened during filming while showing us pictures of the scene that took place at the location. Definitely worth the price.

Our guide, Andrea was very knowledgeable of the tour sites. I regret that Viator did not describe the excluded fees for the 3 entrance fees totaled 250 KN per person. I was not prepared to pay 500 KN for two of us and ran out of cash to pay for using toilets or lunch. That is additional $100 USD for us and we wished it was included in the fee. We did not exchange enough USD for kuna for this at the airport. A the Lokrum island cafe there was a minimum charge and I had to buy a bottle of water, but the tour guide did not tell us about the minimum fee. For public toilet fee is 7 KN. I wish I had known this as well. I had no change in KN. It rained most of the day and it was cold and windy. I let another tourist use my umbrella and I shared one umbrella with my sister. Many people were not prepared for the rain and cold weather and they were miserable. On the way back to the city, the rush hour traffic was terrible and the tour guide let us get off early and we walked back to the hotel. Croatia is packed with tourists everywhere.

We had such a great tour guide named Marko! He makes the animation come to life and knows a lot about the characters in GoT. I have been to several tours around the world and Marko is one of the best thus far! The overall experience is awesome. The only thing to note is that a lot of people smokes everywhere! This is nothing the tour company have control over but perhaps the city might have laws against it since the area is sadly littered with cigarette butts everywhere not to mention the air that you are inhaling is all cigarette smoke. It is a shame that you can not enjoy taking in the fresh beautiful air of the salty Adriatic Sea which is truly a spectacular view from the top of “Kings Landing”.

We took this tour and it did not disappoint! Our guide was super knowledgeable not only about GOT but also about the history of Dubrovnik. You will see all the popular places in Dubrovnik, it’s an excellent way to see the city. Would highly recommend this tour!!

I booked this tour over a year in advance and went to Dubrovnik just for this. Unfortunately, the morning of the tour, I started throwing up. This tour meant so much to me, I tried to go anyway. After five minutes into the tour, I began throwing up again. About five more times withing 10 minutes. I spoke to the Tour Guide and he agreed that it was pointless continuing. From the brief 10 minutes I took part in the tour, I have to say that the tour guide seemed great -- very engaging and knowledgeable. Upon my return home, I contacted Viator. They were terrific -- they understood that getting sick was completely out of my control and they gave me back a refund which was very appreciated. I've used Viator previously in my trip to Iceland and would use them again. It's a great tour company. .

This is a must if you are a GOT fan! Lots of walking and stairs, but incredible views and lots of solid fan details. We enjoyed this tour as did our teen who has not seen GOT!

We had a great time with our guide, Marko! He was so knowledgeable and full of energy! This is the most extensive GoT offer in Dubrovnik and well worth it. From the Red Keep to the Walk of Shame to the botanical gardens and of course, the Iron Throne- it was all wonderful and ran fully on time.

The Tour was awesome and well organized. Our Tourguide Andreia was brilliant, lots of Good quality Photos of relevant GoT Scenes at the sightseeing points with a lot of interesting Information and funny stories. Also some general interessting stories regarding Dubrovnik besides GoT. I highly recommend this long Tour as every Part of it is worth it. I had a brilliant Time, thanks a Million!

Great and informative tour. Even if you’re not a GOT fan, you get to see a lot of the city and wonderful views. You may get lost in all the GOT stories though as I did. A little steep walking and steps hence the sore calves the next day. But we all loved it. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about GOT and history of the city

Marko is an excellent guide and enlivened his talk with snippets of what happened in Dubrovnik during the shooting. He knows stuff about the mythology and history of GoT and the characters that I'm sure even George R.R. Martin has forgotten. And there was enough Croatian history added to make it relevant. All in all, a must do (go for the full day, 7 hour tour, it's worth it).

Marco you were amazing your knowledge of GOT and dubrovnik history was amazing. We throughly enjoyed this trip and well worth doing the full day tour if you are a GOT fan. Amazing to sit on the Iron Throne ! We had a dubrovnik card which saved a lot with admissions' tip keep your City Wall ticket to get into fort.

Firstly Desa our guide was fantastic very knowledgeable about the show. She had a large picture book showing how it looked on the show and what we were looking at now .Must take tour if you are a fan .

We had an amazing time visiting Dubrovnik and this was definitely a highlight! Marko our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions! My husband who is a huge fan saw everything he hoped for and i am not a fan but still had an amazing time. Ending in Lokrum was magical!

This tour with Marko was amazing. He was incredibly passionate about Game of Thrones and also about his native Dubrovnik. I am told that this is the only full day GoT tour in Dubrovnik and I highly recommend it. The locations are scattered around and the fact that it is a mixture of walking/car/boat makes for great variety. Go along and see for yourself. It's a wonderful day out if you're a Game of Thrones geek like me!

Marco our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He was very personable and treated us like true friends. I have been on a lot of tours, i.e. Paris, Rome, etc. and he was the best by far. If you can, hook up with him.
