city which knowing as Bab Abi El Jounoud or the bleu gate, is an ornate city gate and the main western entrance to Fes el Bali.
then we will cross one from the oldest fruit markets (Selalin) , where you will have an idea about the habitant of Fez how they are still using a very old way to buy all their needs, in the meanwhile we will move forward to watch Dar el-Magana , a fourteenth century water clock.
Also and around the area we can not miss the opportunity to visit Medersa Bou Inania The most elaborate, extravagant and beautiful of all Merenid monuments it used as a school, it was founded between 1351–58 by Abu Inan Almarini.
After that, we will continue our tour, Upon getting into Rue Talaa Kebira, the main street leading to the old medina, you will see a chin of shops covered by awnings.
Following this , we will see Zaouia Moulay Idriss II Azaouia (shrine) dedicated to and the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, who ruled Morocco from 807 to 828 and founded the city of Fès for the second time in 810.
Next , we will stop to visit Fondouk El Najjarine or Najjarine Museum identified as a UNISCO locality.

Also and around the area we can not miss the opportunity to see the oldest mental hospital maristan, called “Sidi Fredj,” was built in the 13th century by the sultan Abu Yaqub (1286–1307).
It’s One of the seminal events in the history of diagnosis and treatment of severe psychiatric illness was the understanding of psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and paranoid ideas as resulting from “sickness” rather than from supernatural causes. With this realization, patients were treated with medications, not tortured or killed or jailed. Among the earliest psychiatric hospitals in the world was one in northern Africa.
After that we will crose Atarine street to the Chouara Tannery is one of the three tanneries in the city of Fez, Built in the 11th century, it is the largest tannery in the city.
At the end we will move to Karaouiyne mosque.It is One of the most antiquated mosques in the world and had operated as a university in the kingdom.
