All you have to know is that the time spent is worth every cent. Cortana is cute, lunch is recommended - do the recommendation, its delicious, and the view of Assisi is just stunning.

We had a wonderful day! Our tour guide was great as was our driver.Beautiful city of Cortona was the setting of the movie Under the Tuscan Sun!

What an amazing experience. Gabrielle was host extraordinare as we toured Cortona and Assisi.Blessed with terrific weather, our adventure into the Tuscan countryside was all we had hoped it to be.

The tour guide on this tour was below par. She spoke english, Spanish and Italian all in the one sentence and was very very difficult to understand. Two other person besides myself had trouble keeping up with her walking speed, my husband spoke to her about this could she just slow down a bit but she took no notice therefore several things we couldn't see because of this walking speed. Most of the people on this trip were not young and she needs to accomodate everyone. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Definitely needed more free time to explore each town. The guide at Assisi was a disappointment.

A very long day, with an unnecessary and unnecessarily long mid-morning stop at a cute but unspectacular lakefront village. We had no time to stop in the village for quick shopping or looking, and the line to get in and out of the controlled area was way too long to contemplate going back after seeing Assisi. a pending papal visit was probably responsible for at least some of the delay. Assisi was lovely, but a you're not allowed to take pics inside, and b our guide wasn't permitted to accompany us on that part of the tour - I think we lost quite a lot as a result. Cortona was lovely - despite the afternoon rain - and less crowded. Overall, I preferred not to Assisi. It was after dark by the time we returned to Florence.
