Om denne aktiviteten
Experience Kealakekua Bay’s beauty and wildlife on either a 5-hour or 3.5-hour kayaking and snorkeling tour. Your guided Big Island adventure starts at Napoopoo Landing, where you’ll hop in your kayak and paddle through the bay toward Captain Cook Monument at Kaawaloa Point. Along the way, catch glimpses of playful Hawaiian spinner dolphins while you soak up the tropical atmosphere. Keep your eyes out for the occasional humpback whale, too!
As you paddle, your guide will tell you the historical background of the island and point out natural features like the Pali o Kapu o Keoua (towering sea cliffs), Napoopoo Beach and the remains of the village of Kaawaloa.
When you reach Captain Cook Monument, leave your kayak on the shore and spend time exploring the great Hawaiian outdoors! On the 5-hour tour, you’ll have two hours of snorkeling time (one hour each in two separate locations) and one hour of hiking before refueling with lunch at the monument. The 3.5-hour abbreviated tour includes the same, but with only one hour of snorkeling and a quick snack instead of a lunch break.
Both options end with you and your guide kayaking back to Napoopoo Landing.

Jamal was a fantastic guide!! His passion for and knowledge of the reef (and thee Captain Cook Monument) was infectious and it made us want to explore more. From the pods of young spinner dolphins, to the white-tipped reef sharks, so many schools of fish, and even a Honu! Aloha Kayak Company is one we will surely explore with again.
Jamaal our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the local history and kayaking. Snorkeling was great. Unfortunately didn't see any dolphins but that did not detract from the trip. For those looking for a great place to snorkel this is it!
This was our first time kayaking and it was awesome. He was very patient with us, fun and friendly. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.
Our tour guide, Jason, was amazing. He was very personable and went out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. My wife and I were the only two people on the tour, so it was like we had a private experience. We snorkeled for about two hours at the reef, and saw a variety of fish and a sea turtle. On the way back, we saw a pod of dolphins. A few even jumped out of the water and did spins. The sandwiches provided were standard deli fare, but were pretty good. The snorkel equipment was new, and the kayak was fine. We learned a bit about the history of the island.
Our tour guide Matt was amazing extremely informative and professional and helpful. Even though we were first time kayakers, and perhaps too old and out of shape to do this tour, he was patient and kind..even when we flipped the kayak!! It was definitely worth the sore muscles I know I'll be feeling
When we arrived for our tour the door was locked and no one came. There was no note on the door. No one answered the phone number given to us.
