This was a fantastic little side excursion. The utmost care was taken to make sure that we were comfortable on the drive to the markets, and of course the chaotic dance of the traffic was part of the entertainment. The market was very interesting, and our guide/chef explained that this food market was where all the restaurants buy their supplies from. The locals find it too expensive and shop at their own local market. Our chef Dory, told us the names of everything and what they were used for. After the market we were taken to another location for the cooking class, which was cool and comfortable and we were given icy cold green tea. The class was fabulous and she made it very easy to follow. Even my husband did a great job! We enjoyed the meal afterwards, and it was delicious! I would highly recommend this tour if you interested in learning about foods in other cultures. It wasn't over the top different and it was all very clean and healthy food. Five stars from me!

Brilliant! I had an excellent experience. Fabulous teacher showing me all the tricks of the trade and I got to eat it all at the end.

It was a great experience learning to cook Vietnamese meals. The Chefs were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to make the dishes at home.

The tour went ok but it was listed as 5 hours but was finished in more like 3. Learnt a few valuable things though.
