Visit the Maropeng exhibition centre. This centre will showcase the four elements necessary to sustain life: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water. View original fossils on display!

We had an excellent time on this tour with Jason. We were lucky that there were only the two of us booked that day, so we got our own private tour. The best part was the visit to the lion park, in fact the highlight of our trip was getting to spend time with the cutest lion cubs. This was a great tour and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Jason!

Very informative tour of the Cradle of Humankind with the Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng. The Safari and Lion park was nice, but a bit touristy.

First Class tour Our tour was the one with Lion park. Lion park was fun, but one of the little lion cubs was a bit too playful -watch those claws! Stroking the Chetah was awesome. Very interesting exhibits at the Cradle of Mankind, cave also interesting tho' not the most beautiful. Our tour included a quality lunch in a beautiful setting. A great day out, all in the company of our excellent guide Jason who gave us additional info. and insights into South Africa.

It was a great day and a good overview of the area north of Johannesburg. We loved the baby lions and the cheetah experience! The Sterkfontein cave and the fabulous museum along with a delicious lunch with a view.

This tour was everything we wanted and more. The museums were amazing and well documented, and the wildlife part was exceptional. I never thought I'd pet a cheetah and hear him purr. We bought some things in the gift shop, nice souvenirs of the trip.

Jason, a guide from Deeprift Ventures ran this tour for me. He was very knowledgeable about South Africa and talked about many interesting facts as we drove to the tour. He also knew the best times to visit each location so the crowds were minimal. On the way we stopped at a lion park where we went into an area with lion cubs and were able to interact directly with them. This was one of the highlights of my trip. Truly amazing animals. We had a full tour of the lions, wild dogs, and other animals at the park. After that we went on to the Cradle of Humankind. Jason provided very interesting information about the area and what it represented. The Cradle of Humankind included a walk through a large cave along with a tour of exscavations currently underway. It was an amazing day. I would highly recommend this tour particularly with Jason.
