Over the past couple of decades, Athens’ Gazi district has seen an incredible amount of development, becoming the new cool place to be in the city. It’s now full of restaurants, cafés, cinemas, bars, music venues, and, of course, art – the old city gasworks has been turned into a museum/cultural center named “Technopolis”, which may be unique in Europe.

We highly recommend this tour. The guide was an artist and was very knowledgeable about the artists and their work and the social and cultural ideas expressed. The walk was at a slow pace with a stop for a coffee break. The tour was easy to book on-line, the start point easy to find and good directions back to the hotel when it was over. Great tour for photographers too!

This was such a fun tour. Our Tour Guide, Nicholas was very informative about the Athens Street Art and how it has evolved over the years. He was fun to talk to and we really learned a lot about street art. Thanks Nicholas!!
