We will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap by our driver (no guide included) at around 18:00 hrs and transfer you to one of the more local venues for a dinner and dance performance that symbolizes the history of the Khmer empire.

Upon arrival, you will be guided to your table at the Por Cuisine-local restaurant, where you will enjoy with traditional Apsara performance during dinning. The Apsara are legendary characters from the ancient Khmer tale of Ramayana, which is closely related to the Hindu.

The youthful exuberance of the dancers presenting Ethnic minority dance is contrasted with the formal expressions of the dancers as they perform as the Heavenly nymphs known as Apsaras; dances also include extracts from the Reamker (the Cambodian interpretation of the Ramayana). The performance itself lasts approximately one hour while the staff serves you a variety of Khmer-influenced dishes.

After this evening experience, your driver will bring you in comfort back to your hotel in Siem Reap, where you will arrive at around 20:30 hrs.

The pick up was on time and the driver was only monosyllabic in his response. The show itself was decent. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the food was alright. One of us was vegetarian and based on our request, they had made necessary arrangements in their set menu. It was overall a good evening, but I wouldn't recommend this as a 'Must-do' in Cambodia if you have limited time.
