Stop At: Batu Caves, Batu Caves, Selangor

A short distant from the city outskirt is Batu Caves – a massive limestone outcrop with its interior dominated by a sacred Hindu shrine lined with different deities, located deep inside the high caverns which take 272 steps to reach. Outside the caves, marvel at the 43 meters high golden statue of Lord Murugan.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Batik Boutique, 3 Ground Floor, Jalan 26/70a Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur 50480 Malaysia

Stop at the traditional Malaysian Batik Center to see how Batik is printed or hand-drawn using wax and dye.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, 4 Jalan Usahawan 6 Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur 53300 Malaysia

Stop at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre to witness the making of pewterware – Malaysian’s most distinctive craft.

A fantastic tour! Batu caves is a definite must-see when visiting KL. Despite the hundreds of steps up, its very much worth it as the cave and the views are incredible. My guide was very knowledgeable and told me all about the history of the caves and their cultural and religious importance. Highly informative and interesting! He even took me into the Ramayana Cave just around the corner as well, as we were a bit ahead of schedule, which was just beautiful to see! I highly recommend!

Driver was on time and was easy to understand. The cave was very interesting and a must see sight. We passed on a couple of store stops and we had seen them the day before on a previous tour.
