Definitely not tailored for the weak at heart, this 30-minute ride takes you somewhere between 10 and 15 miles over what can only be described as very aggressive and challenging terrain.

This is not a roller coaster ride - if you aim at the big rocks, you will probably hit them. You are required to wear a full face helmet and a four-point harness at all times on the course.

You can choose a one or two-seater dune buggy on this tour. All buggies are custom built for the rugged Nevada terrain, and come equipped with roll cages, seatbelts and helmets for your safety. The buggies are similar to your regular car, with a steering wheel, brake pedal, and gas pedal. It's your responsibility to operate the vehicle safely.

Your total ride time is approximately 30-minutes.You will not be able to switch drivers during this tour. If each passenger wishes to drive, you must book two (2) buggies.

We did this as a corporate event and had the BEST time! We had a group of 9 and rented the mini buggies. Our driver, Emmet was informative and went over the paperwork with us. Shay was very pleasant once we arrived and got us set up with a locker. And lastly, our buggy guide, Reef, was excellent! He went through all of the safety aspects, got us properly strapped into our buggies and then we were off. Wish we had more time here because we would have loved to do it again!

This was very awesome. I brought my GoPro and recorded the drive! Time goes very fast, and I will certainly be going back next trip to Vegas! The guide/leader of our group Mr. Goodnight was great. I will mention that I didn't see MGM Grand on the list of pickup options with Viator, but when I reconfirmed the day before with the company, they updated my pickup location and did in fact pick me up at MGM Grand.

What a great morning this was. It is as much fun as it looks. The shocks on the dune buggy were great. I would definitely do this again.
