It’s on to the most unique element of the tour—a 90-minute float on the Colorado River for an up-close look at the dam.

Lake Mead, the country’s largest reservoir, can be seen as you arrive at the historic structure.

Stop At: Hoover Dam Access Road, Boulder City, NV 89109

As you near the dam, you'll drive by historic Boulder City and learn about its important role in the dam’s construction. This town was created solely to house workers during the dam’s construction and retains its vintage charm.

This was fantastic! It provided an incredible view of the majesty of the Hoover Dam. Adding to that was the hidden view of little tunnels along the waterline of the mountainside. The silence we experienced while in the boat was..well, total silence. Recommend to all!

Really enjoyed this morning long trip that took in the full Hoover Dam experience, you will get to know everything worth knowing about the dam and more about the history around the construction. The raft ride was good and got us as close to the dam as was allowable. Jerry, our guide, was brilliant all day long and made everyone feel well looked after. Highly recommended!!

This was one of the best things we did on our trip. The tour guide was fantastic and a plethora of knowledge about every detail of Vegas growth and development over the years to environmental and animal life. On time, comfortable and worth every penny.

My husband and I took this tour on a recent trip to Las Vegas and it was time and money well spent. The van was clean and comfortable and the driver prompt, courteous and friendly. It allowed us access to parts of the dam area we would not have seen on our own due to heightened security measures: the power plant side of the dam and the Colorado River, the interior of the power plant, and the ability to walk across and take photos from the new Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. Highly recommended for access to the dam and a different perspective from the Colorado River.
