This tour is totally customizable and will be designed to fit your specific needs. Before embarking, you’ll be sent a form to fill out. Choose from a half-day or full-day city tour. And the rest? That’s entirely up to you. Explain your interests and desires, and your private guide will then plan a schedule based around your wishes.

Your local guide will meet you at your hotel at the requested time and set off via public transport, on foot or by bike, depending on what form of transport is most suitable. Costs for public transport are included, but private cars and taxis will be at your own expense.

If you’re a first-time visitor, you might want to cross the popular attractions off your bucket list, such as Lisbon Cathedral, Belém Tower or the imposing St George’s Castle. If you’re familiar with Lisbon and wish to discover something new, let you guide show you around some of Lisbon’s lesser-known areas. You might be led to the little-visited Martim Moniz district, a vibrant multicultural quarter, or introduced to the cuisine of up-and-coming Alcântara.

The best tour I had on this trip. It was a walking tour. Overall took about 11 hours. The guide knew just about everything and everybody. Went to places that normal tourists never go. Spent a good amount of time in Alfama and had lunch there. There are a lot of hills you walk up and down. But I'm 69 and was able to do it just fine. Well worth the extra money. If you want to learn about Lisbon, take this tour.
