Continue to Almourol Castle, one of the finest examples of 12th-century medieval military architecture. Later, discover Tomar, a town known for the Castle and Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This was the location of the Knights Templar in Portugal, thereafter known as the Knights of Christ.

Finally, see the historic center of Tomar with a visit to its two Templar Churches and the Synagogue of Tomar. Still in the beautiful city of Tomar, finish this intense and magical journey through the ancient world of the Knights Templar, by climbing one of the most wonderful aqueducts Portugal, the Aqueduct Pegões.
