Stop At: Torre Templaria de Dornes, Dornes, Ferreira do Zezere 2240-611 Portugal

The first stop will be at Dornes, an ancient village, founded by the Romans. At Dornes we will visit the medieval Tower, built in the 12th century by Gualdim Pais, the Knights Templar Grand Master, and will appreciate the breathtaking view over Zêzere river.

Stop At: Igreja de Sao Joao Baptista, Praca da Republica, Tomar 2300-000 Portugal

we will visit Tomar historic center. The S. João Batista Church was built in “Manuelino” style, the unique Portuguese 16th century architecture style.

Stop At: Synagogue of Tomar, Rua Dr. Joaquim Jacinto, 73 The synagogue has been renovated and is now open for visitors, Tomar 2300-577 Portugal

We will also visit one of the oldest Synagogues in Europe, the Tomar Sephardic Synagogue.

Stop At: Convent of Christ, Igreja do Castelo Templario, Tomar 2300-322 Portugal

Discover the Convent of Christ, a World Heritage Site. Its history goes back several centuries and steeped in myth and symbolism.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Castle of Almourol, Em1191, Vila Nova da Barquinha 2260 Portugal

Start the day visiting the surprising Almourol Castle, an amazing construction placed on an island, in the middle of Tagus river.
