Om denne aktiviteten
Meet-up with your guide in late morning and embark on an electric bike tour of the area, beginning at Rua da Boavista near Cais do Sodré Metro Station. Get set up on the bike and then head to Rossio station to catch the train for Sintra.
Upon arrival in Sintra, visit the National Palace and go for a cycling tour in the natural park of Sintra-Cascais. See the famous Quinta da Regaleira, built between 1904 and 1910 and renowned for its symbolism, magic, and mystery. Continue biking along roads flanked by majestic groves until reaching the entrance of Monserrate Park and Palace, one of the most beautiful examples of the Portuguese style of Romanticism. Pass through Colares, well known for its vineyards, and stop in Penedo village to enjoy breathtaking views from the atrium of the church.
Take a break for lunch in the village of Azóia, home to a variety of great restaurants. Continue on through an ancient forest and on the way to the Peninha Sanctuary. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Espichel Cape and Arrábida to the south, Carvoeiro Cape and Berlengas to the north, and the entire Sintra mountain to the north-east. Then return to the heart of Sintra for one last look at Pena Palace, an important monument of the Portuguese Romanticism movement. Alternatively, go down to Guincho a stunning beach with marvelous sand dunes, until reaching the bicycle path to Cascais. From there, return to Lisbon by train.

We were looking forward to this tour as both Sintra and Cascais had been well recommended. However, the reality was that we raced from the station at Sintra to the top of the mountains and down to Cascais. We didnt see any of the streets of Sintra, nor much else really. Our guide Hugo Im sure meant well, but missed the point of the tour altogether. In the end we insisted on stopping for lunch in a Cascais otherwise it would have been a non stop race for 6 hours
This tour was fun and gave you a different perspective of the beautiful city! Our giide Daniel kept us well informed and safe...must do activity if you crave a little adventure!
