Off The Beaten Path Food & Wine Tour

Enrique was a great guide. It ended up being just my daughter and I so it was as if we were on a personal tour. He showed us around and took us to two really great places for tapas and dinner. Food was a fusion version of typical Spanish dishes. Recommend to anyone who is looking to go to places where locals hang out. He even took us to the park and shared the history of the old castle and spots where monuments stood.

Worth every penny and more. We had an excellent time with Enrique and tried several different dishes and wines that we never would have known to order on our own. He is very knowledgable and personable. This is not a wine and food tasting where you get tiny tastes of wine, you get several full glasses and try several bites of food! We did not have to eat dinner, this tour filled us up. Also, this is a small group tour which I love. Less than 8 people each time so you get a very intimate experience. Our group was 4 people. He showed us around a part of town we would not have known to go to ourselves. It was lovely. Plus, he personalizes this tour based on people's preferences! When we go back to Madrid, I will definitely be taking this again.

My husband and I met with Enrique at the Plaza de Independencia. He was there waiting for us, on time. Enrique is a very pleasant guide who gave us a tour which at first was about the local history of this area of Madrid. We then walked through Retiro Park, a wonderful park full of people enjoying their spare time doing all sorts of activities. Just outside the park was the neighborhood where we visited three different gastropubs, enjoying different tapas and wine, all from different areas of Spain. Enrique has a great knowledge of food and wine. We are Californians who like wine but now we know much more about the great Spanish wines! Madrid is amazing for foodies and a tour can orient a traveler, especially when they first arrive. Muchas gracias Enrique!

This tour is for you if you're looking for a trendy, stylish night out with locals in Madrid. We visited 3 different restaurants with 3 distinct styles. Our tour guide took the time to learn our likes and dislikes and encouraged us to step outside our comfort zone. We had an excellent time. Enrique was personable, knowledgeable, and just an overall kind person to spend time with. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I had the Best Foodie Tour ever with Enrique last Sunday evening!! His in-depth knowledge of Spanish wines, his astute wealth of information he shared and his selection of unique tapas bars and final restaurant exceeded our expectations. If you travel to Madrid, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to meet Enrique for this fabulous experience. If the eight of us could give Enrique 20 stars, we would. Every part of the tour taught us more about Madrid than we ever dreamed. All of the places we visited in such a short period were so perfect, we've actually considered booking again when we pass back through on our way home!! You should consider this tour one of the best in the list, if not the best.
