Our tour guide, Minerva, was excellent. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. She was willing to answer any questions, even about the lunch menu! We really enjoyed our day.

Toledo is realy worth going! A historical city with great art! The tour guide , Sarah was nice. Still , there are certain issues that did not much our expectations: The tour planned for walking around the city centre and that was cool! Sarah gave us basic historical information. It also planned to visit Inglesia de Santo Tome where we had the chance to admire Greco's painting The death of Count Orgath. It also included visit to the interesting Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes and a visit to one of the synagogs of the city. The thing is that as soon as we we arrived in all those three places, we were given very basic info and then were left on alone to guess the rest of it. We expected more guidance for the guide. We heard other guides talking the their groups and felt that there should be much more to it! Additionally we did not see why the tour opted to get us to a synagog that was not actually the main one of the city and not Greco House/Myseum! When you go to Toledo you definatey want to go the see Greco's art! The lunch that was included was absolutely mediocre! We would have definately eaten much better if we were to choose otherwise. We do not recommend it. Touristic fast food from waiters who did not know an English word and were so surly and looked so bored of their lives as if we were annoyning them with our presense! We had less that 2 hours to walk around after this mediocre lunch and tried to visit Greco's house and the Cathedral. As expected, time was not enough! Left without seeing the cathedral, that was a must see, because we had to catch the bus at 3pm. We went on time and had to wait in the bus for half an hour for others to return... if we knew that we might have visited the cathedral. Overall, Toledo is surely worth going but skip the lunch and ask for a more sophsiticated tour!
