This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: The Madrid Wine Experience, 28042 Madrid Spain

Pick up is provided at your hotel by an English-speaking driver/guide in a luxury minivan. Embark on a small group tour (maximum 7 people) to two wineries outside Madrid. Tour the different areas of the wineries and taste a variety of wines. Savor the differences of each winery, the traditional vs. modern-style of wine-making. Enjoy a 3-course lunch at a winery complete with dessert and wine and stunning views of the vineyard. Return to Madrid after a nice relaxing lunch.

9:30 am - Aproximate pick-up time from your hotel or closest departure point

10:30 am - 1st winery visit and wine tasting

1:00 pm - 2nd winery visit and wine tasting

2:00 pm - 3-course meal at a winery with views of vineyards

4:45 pm - Drop-off in Madrid (2 different points available for drop-off)

This was a great experience. The two wineries were different where one was very small and boutique and one was more of a "big" vineyard but they were both fantastic to see. The lunch was incredible and the guide made for a perfect experience. We were lucky enough to end up with just my wife, myself, and the guide so it as a very fun day where we could ask questions and discuss all types of matters. Highly recommend!

It was a nearly perfect day. Our tour guide was a winemaker himself so he was extremely knowledgeable about wines and wine making. We had private tours and one of the best meals we had in Spain. I would highly recommend this tour.

The BEST tour I have ever done. Cannot recommend enough. We plan on returning to Madrid just to bring family and friends along so they can experience it too! Great guide, wine, food and sights.

David was an absolutely wonderful tour guide, and as no one else had booked the tour, it ended up bring a private tour experience for my husband and me. I appreciated that pick up was close to where we were staying and very timely. David was very knowledgeable about the wines, and I really enjoyed both wineries we went to. The first was very modern with a nice open air BBQ area, a fantastic inside restaurant, and a nice tasting room. The wines were delicious and if you've never been to Spain, be prepared for how CHEAP the wine is! We bought a few bottles from the vineyard and they are only around 4-7 Euro each. The second winery was my favorite. I felt like we were going to someone's home and we had a very nice time learning about the process of making wine in clay pots, and sat on the patio and enjoyed each other's company. It felt like I was with old friends. I highly recommend this tour.

Can not say enough good things about this amazing tour. We actually had friends who took this tour a year before my group and they had raved about it - and they did not exaggerate about how wonderful the experience ended up being. Our guide, David, was knowledgeable and professional while also just a lot of fun to be around through the day. The two wineries we visited were fantastic and it was so interesting meeting with and talking to the winemakers. The lunch far exceeded our expectations - we could not believe how much food we were served and every bit of it was absolutely delicious, as were the wines we enjoyed through the meal. Almost every day since returning from Madrid, my friends and I constantly talk to each other and say how much we wish we were back wine tasting on this day! Do yourself a favor, if you're visiting Madrid, take this tour!
