Your tour begins as you meet your private guide at a central meeting point in downtown Mexico City. Set off on your walking as your guide is ready to help you understand the unique social and political contexts of the artworks you'll see and to consider them in terms of modern and traditional Mexico.

Curiosity, questions and comments are welcomed. This is a truly interactive tour as the street doesn't work like a robot and your guide won't either! This is a 100% private tour, just for you and your group. Like all urban art, street art in Mexico is here today, and gone tomorrow. Ephemeral and compelling, this constant change of formats, styles and messages tell us a lot about what is happening in real life, real Mexico, right now.

This tour offers you a broad cross-section of urban artworks and graffiti within a condensed couple of walk-able blocks in downtown Centro Historico.The colonial backdrop of this street art tour creates a beautiful juxtaposition with modern life and contemporary Mexico. There is always a mix of new artist pieces with a solid dose of vibrant large scale murals created by artists who have a solid artistic career and personal story behind their works. You'll learn to cipher the art you're seeing, and then have a go yourself. Spray time (optional) is included.

Elmo was an excellent knowledgeable guide who is obliviously passionate about street art. He was easy to contact and made meeting up at the starting point very easy. We toured murals from internationally acclaimed artist as well as local artist. We also visited an authentic street art store that will not be on agenda but is a great experience. The highlight of the tour was participating in a group art project in which we actually painted a wall. Take this tour it’s great

The guide was relaxed, took his time and spent way more time with us than he needed to. I would recommend this tour to anyone. There was even a special treat at the end!
