Stop At: Plaza de la Constitucion, Poder Legislativo Rio Balsas, Cuernavaca 62400 Mexico

You will take a scenic drive to Cuernavaca, "The City of the Eternal Spring.” Here, you will visit its main landmarks.

See the Cathedral, which is the seat of the Catholic diocese of the same name in Mexico. This building is from the sixteenth century, making it one of the oldest cathedrals in the whole country. Your sightseeing tour continues to the Palacio de Cortés, which Hernán Cortés ordered to be built in the immediate years of Mexico conquest. Finally, you'll visit the monument to Morelos. He was a military insurgent and Mexican patriot, who organized and was the architect of the second stage of the War of Independence of Mexico.

Stop At: Santa Prisca de Taxco, Plaza Borda, Taxco Mexico

After seeing the best of Cuernavaca, you will drive to Taxco, a colonial city with hundreds of years of history. The city is nestled on a hillside with winding cobblestone streets, tile roofed buildings, cozy squares and a strong Old World ambiance that has survived through hundreds of years. During your visit, you will see Santa Prisca, one of Mexico’s grandest churches. It was built in 1759 by French immigrant Jose de la Borda who literally stumbled upon a huge silver spring. Taxco is known worldwide for its quality silver mines and shops so you will have the opportunity to see and buy art pieces from Mexican artisans.

After a great day out learning more about Mexico, you'll head back to Mexico City

The bus was really a mess. It was a van that apparently had a recent history as a agricultural or industrial delivery van (Grease or dirt stains were all over the interior of the van, including the roof headliner). The van was missing safety features like seatbelts too. Amigio Tours/Viatour crammed people into the van too. 14 people crammed into a van. 2 passengers didnt have any space for their feet. 7 were crammed into a space no bigger than 5 feet long. Not comfortable for the 7 to 8 hours the tour group was on the bus.

That was amazing tour to silver city... guide very helpful, just churches were closed due to earthquake... worth to go!

Well run tour with a great guide. Had an amazing day, well worth doing. It is a long day, but gave great perspective with distance and got to see some of Mexico on the drive. Loved Taxaco, amazing town we were all astounded when we say the buildings all on a mountain side. A lot,of steep hills to climb, but well worth it.

A great day out of Mexico City with a lovely guide. She was very pleasant and helpful. Lunch was lovely. I would have liked more time to shop in Taxco - the Silver City, but it was a lovely day.

the tour bus did not provided Air Conditioning , they used our side air, due to the fact that some old people from Ecuador complain of the air, they were old. so it was really hot, my high pressure went up, my diabetes went high, I really became ill coming back to Mexico City, I was assisted to get into the bus, we were drop off close to bellas artes near a pharmacy.
