This is our departure point, it is a new marina with a beautiful park (Regatta Park) behind it and Biscayne National Park right in front.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Coconut Grove, Virginia Street, Miami, FL 33133

We start our trip from Dinner Key Marina which is located in the historical Coconut Grove area, only 10 minutes south from downtown Miami...After the trip guests have the opportunity of exploring the area which has many great restaurants and cafes plus some historical landmarks....The time you spend here is optional depending on your schedule.

Stop At: Biscayne National Park, Biscayne National Park, Florida

Biscayne National Park is a beautiful bay in front of Miami, this is where we will spend all our time during the trip...once we start we will go via a channel to the open bay, once we are there the captain will open the sails and turn off the motor...this is when the real experience begins...Peace, tranquility and the most outstanding views of Miami and its surroundings will be your gift, making it the highlight of their trip to our city.

My sister and I LOVED the two hour sail with Luis and Mabel. Their sailboat is just like the pics, and both Mabel and Luis have a such warm and welcoming vibe. Mabel was a wealth of knowledge, showing us points of interest as we motored out of the marina. She also knew a lot of the history of the area, and shared interesting stories of Miami / Biscayne Bay. Once under sail, my sister and I grabbed a couple waters out of the cooler and relaxed on the bow of the boat. Two seat cushions with backs were set up for us to lounge and catch some sun. Mabel brought us some yummy snacks and later took a few photos she will share with us via email. Luis and Mabel did such a beautiful job of making our sail special, giving us just the right amount of alone time and checking in to see if we were doing okay. I highly recommend them .... and we hope to return myself!

This trip was awesome! Mabel and Luis could not have been better hosts for the evening. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable of the Miami area, its history and culture. A great couple!!! The snacks and refreshments were amazing. We really felt comfortable and welcome aboard their vessel which by the way, was VERY well maintained. We had such a great time, taking in all the scenery and chatting with them. It was an evening we won't soon forget. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone. Larry and Kathy PA

We had a fairly interesting experience with this trip. Cons: When we first arrived, our photographer/ship owner ? asked if she could leave to attend to a family matter. This would have left us without a photographer that was included in the price of the trip. She offered the captain to take pictures on our phones. It put us in a pretty difficult spot as we felt really guilty to have to say no. We has specifically booked this trip for the photographer and it was not cheap. We easily could have booked a plain sailing trip for much cheaper. It would have been preferred if she had called us prior to arrival to let us know the situation. The communication around that moment as well as the first 45 minutes or so was fairly strained as she didn't do a great job of explaining the plan for the day - we had to follow up more than once in order to understand the cadence of the trip. Pros: That being said, once she was back tuned into the trip, she did a great job. She took some nice pictures of the group, brought a bottle of champagne completely unexpected, and provided a fun bachelorette party game. She definitely redeemed the trip once the original confusion was over.

This was such a fun experience and our hosts were the sweetest ever! Great time spent with the family, and beautiful night to sail. I would do it again!

Luis and Mabel are a delightful couple, as captain and first mate very competent and great hosts. We took a midday sail out to Stiltsville, got one of a kind views of downtown Miami from the water, great conversation and information on the area. Well worth the investment to see Miami as it was meant to be seen, from the lovely aqua waters of the Atlantic.
