Meet your guide in Piazza Monteoliveto and then set off on your 2 hour walking tour through Spaccanapoli. The first stop will be in Piazza del Gesù Nuovo where admire a stunning monumental obelisk at the centre of the square, dedicated to the Immaculate conception. Then, you will continue with a visit to the Gesù Nuovo church, a civilian bulding completed in 1470 transformed in a beautiful baroque basilica from Jesuits in 1601 that hide an enigmatic riddle. Then, you’ll explore S. Chiara church in majestic gothic style and we will walking through San Domenico Maggiore, one of the oldest, largest and most historic squares of the city, up to Piazzetta Nilo and largo Corpo di Napoli, where to admire the statue of the God Nile. The last stop will be the cathedral of Naples, with inside the Chapel of S. Gennaro treasure, the saint famous for the miracle of the liquefaction of blood.
