Om denne aktiviteten
Start your full-day tour of Oahu with morning pickup at your Waikiki hotel and set out in a deluxe air-conditioned coach with an expert guide.
Leaving Honolulu, drive past the ritzy Kahala area en route to the Amelia Earhart Lookout, named in honor of the famous aviator who in 1935 completed the first successful solo flight from Honolulu to the continental US, landing in California. Take in panoramic views of the 350-acre (142-hectare) volcanic crater that forms Diamond Head and watch surfers catching waves in the ocean below.
Down the road, stop at the lookout over Hanauma Bay, a marine nature reserve known for calm clear waters with excellent snorkeling. Then stop for a look at the Halona Blowhole and hope to see a geyser-like spray of water rocket into the air.
Travel into the hills to reach the Nu'uanu Pali lookout where you are treated to sweeping views of Kanehoe Bay and Kailua Bay. Continue to Byodo-In Temple, a smaller-scale replica of a 950-year-old Buddhist temple in Uji, Japan. The stunning site, which features ornate temple buildings with a golden Buddha statue that stands more than nine feet (three meters) tall, is tucked into the foothills of the Ko'olau Mountains.
Back on the road, enjoy great views of Mokoli'l Island (Chinaman's Hat), Kahana Bay and the beaches along the North Shore of Oahu. Visit Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay, made famous in the 1960s when big-wave surfing took hold here. In the winter, the beaches still draw surfers from around the world.
Head inland to the Dole Plantation, where you have a quick stop to view lush tropical gardens, take a quick break and browse the gift shop.
During the day, take a 1-hour break to purchase lunch at a sit-down restaurant. Your tour ends with drop off at your hotel in the evening.

I have taken many Viator tours through the years and this was the worst ever. When I booked this tour I was told it was an intimate tour no more than 20 people. WRONG! I was picked up in a big bus with 43 people on board. The driver skipped 2 people as he said he could not get to them. The driver was very negative through out the day and kept complaining that he was behind schedule. I as the traveling tourist and paying customer did. Not need to hear then constant negative comments. He started by saying he is driving a large commercial bus . Therefore, we would not be going to stop at a few of the scheduled sites and they would only be drive by viewings. This. Makes me feel as though I did not get my money’s worth from the tour and I am short changed. He also noted that we must keep to his hurried schedule so we would avoid traffic. We did not get to enjoy what I paid for a s we were always hurrying from one place to the next. Finally the special lunch was terrible. I was told we would have garlic shrimp as one of the entrees. Not! All we had was picked over hot salad items, rice, corn, dry chicken, ribs and something that looked like chili beans. The only beverage offered was water. I definitely did not get my $25.00 dollars worth. I will definitely think twice before I look at future viator tours!
Gensin the tour guide and driver, is one of the worst I have ever had as a tour guide. He was just interested in driving us through and was full of excuses as to why he won’t stop in places of interest. His non stop banter during the trip was full of useless information. We were not interested in the real estate market of the island and gensin wouldn’t talk about anything else. Wasted a day. Would discourage friends and family from doing this.
The trip was very informative and entertaining. The stops were appropriate for experiencing the places.
I had the greatest time ever. Keo was extremely funny and very knowledgeable. Not only can he drive but he can sing too!
This tour is a very good tour for people who want to see the "natural" parts of the island from the comfort of an air-conditioned motor coach. Our tour guide, Ben, was funny, knowledgeable, and friendly and did a very good job. Everything was pretty much as described, and we enjoyed the stops, the views, and the information given. Would have loved more than an hour at the Dole Plantation -- you really need two hours to see it well. And the Kualoa Ranch was not really worth the time there. Plus -- and this is a BIG DEAL -- do NOT spend the extra money for the "buffet" lunch at the Kualoa Ranch. The "buffet" consisted of five items -- plain white rice, corn, salad, chicken, and bbq spare ribs. The food was left out in open contains with no real covers, with flies constantly flying in and out of the containers. Absolutely disgusting. For $10, you can get a fresh meal (hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.) at the grill they have at the very same location. Do NOT spend the money for the buffet lunch. We ended up buying a "fresh" meal despite the fact that we had paid for the buffet. Wasn't going to eat something that had been sitting in the heat for who knows how long with flies all in it. Pick-up and drop off were great; you just need to pay attention to the instructions. Tour was a bit long -- could probably get it done in seven hours instead of 9. Again, Ben was the highpoint of the tour; the lunch was the low point and a complete waste of money. Recommend the tour -- just not the lunch.
This is our first trip here in Hawaii. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He took us around the island and we learned a lot about volcanoes, the fruits and vegetables that grow here. Gave us tips on other tours we might like to take. Overall we had a good time. Thank you Ben.
This tour was in a comfortable motor coach van with a company called Polynesian Adventure Tours. Guide was a very positive and energetic Samoan guy by the name of Kalaa (pronounced like “Clay” with an “ah” in the middle between the “C” and “L” to make it two syllables). The tour picks up people from multiple hotels between 8:15- 9 AM and then sets off on its way. Lasts until about 6 PM with a lunch break around 12:30-1 PM at a picturesque place called Kuuola Ranch. Guide is also the driver and tells many interesting fun facts about each place we visit, as well as about Hawaii in general. Some of the places we saw included Hanauma Bay Reserve, the Byodo-In Japanese temple, Waimea Bay, the Halona Blowhole, the Dole Plantation, and at the end, a beautiful scenic view of the Honolulu area from a viewing area called Nu’uanu Pali. The tour is long and should not be taken by those with low energy and stamina. But if you can complete it, it will definitely be one of the most fun and fulfilling tours offered by any tour company that you can take of Oahu. Would definitely take other similar tours with this company and guide again!!
Driver very knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Hawaii and the culture. Learned about the kings and queens of ancient Hawaii
This was a perfect way to see oahu! My mom and I came here for vacation! It was my moms second visit and my first visit here and I wanted to see as much as we could. Oahu is beautiful and there’s so much to see but this tour allows you to explore and not have to worry about the commute or transit. You hope on an air conditioned bus and just enjoy the ride. Our driver Jensin was so great, he was extremely knowledgeable and he took us to every spot listed on the schedule. If I had to choose a favorite spot it would either be the Byodo-In Temple or the Nu’unau Pali lookout point. This is a great tour for anyone! A family, group of friends and solo if you want! It was so much fun!
