Kualoa Ranch Movie Tour
1 h
Om denne aktiviteten
Make your own way to scenic Kualoa Ranch, a 4,000-acre (1,619-hectare) cattle ranch located on Oahu’s gorgeous northern coast. After checking in, board a classic bus with an experienced guide who takes you around the sprawling property.
Snap photos of a giant footprint left by Godzilla, strike a pose at the scene of a Jurassic Park dinosaur chase and see the battleground from Windtalkers. Learn about other movies that have been filmed on the ranch, including Pearl Harbor, Tears of the Sun and 50 First Dates, and TV shows such as Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I. and Lost.
Catch sight of Kaneohe Bay, which played a starring role in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. The massive pirate ship Queen Anne's Revenge sailed these waters while famous actors such as Johnny Depp worked on location, creating quite a stir among locals and visitors in the area.
Kaneohe Bay, along with Mokoli’i Island (Chinaman’s Hat) and the Ko’olau Mountains, was formed after the ancient Ko’olau volcano erupted some 2.5 million years ago. Enjoy incredible views of the remains of that volcano as you take in the jagged green slopes of the Ko’olau range, an iconic backdrop on this stretch of Oahu.
After visiting various filming locations on Kualoa Ranch, you are returned to the starting point to wrap up your tour.

The whole experience was worth it and beautiful. Now the timing part about showing up. I showed up at 11am and stood in line for 2 mins. To only find out the bus tour left at 11 on the dot. I feel like that isn’t right especially for your normal tourist still trying to navigate though tropical weather(rained hard for acouple minutes going up) that slowed us up. But keep in mind we were only 2 minutes late!!!! They should give at least 5-10 minutes before take off. Bad business if you ask me. But luckily they were able to accommodate another tour 3 hours later. So keep that in mind when traveling because they don’t give a damm ( I had 2 kids with me and one was an infant, you can only imagine how our 3 hours went)
Funny and knowledgible guide. Tour was leisurely with plenty of time for photos. Tour bus was cramped for tall companion. Tour recommended for family and friends
I just wanted to thank the staff at the ranch for their exceptional customer service. Someone in our party had a walker and needed assistance. We had requested a wheelchair accessible bus but it wasn’t available. I stopped a staff member walking by and asked her some questions. She took the time to answer and then she helped us get checked in quicker. Another staff member graciously picked up my mom in a golf cart so she wouldn’t have to walk so far. Then the guide helped her on the bus and also saved the first seat for her. What could have been a disaster was actually a wonderful experience thanks to gracious and helpful staff members. Thank you so much!
We had a great time and even better picture opportunities on this tour, thanks to our awesome tour guide. The tour guide provided a great deal of information on the history of the area as well as the information about the movie sites! Fantastic time.
It was an awesome tour of history, movie sites, and ranch. Our tour guide made the tour entertaining.
We have never been disappointed at Kualoa ranch. It is a God inspirered land. Kudos to Brinley our driver. I brought my out of town family and they enjoyed themselves immensely. Make your tour reservations early. Thank you
The tour guide is so friendly and helpful we have an awesome session for 90 minutes including brief information about the kualoa , movie spot and much more
Our tour guide was exceptional! Nohea, she was funny, informative, and overall awesome! The sights were amazing, the views breathtaking. I enjoyed every moment.
This was one of the best tours we took in Oahu. Our driver was wonderful, humorous and downright entertaining! Gorgeous views of mountainous Oahu, and fun excursions into various movie sets that were filmed here--Lost, Jumanji, Jurassic Park, etc. Wonderful family friendly tour!!
This was so much better than we anticipated! Knowledgeable guide. Beautiful scenery. Fun!
Fun and the we got see a little bit of the King Kong - Skull Island film being made. The tour was really interesting and the history of the ranch was fascinating. The only thing we regretted was that we didn't sign up for more activities. There are enough separate tours and things to do you can spend most of the day there if you like. We were on a bus tour but you ride ATVs and do other things while you are there.
Great tour. Fascinating greens surrounding us from everywhere. It was amazing to see many movie locations there live. The remaining of Kong and Jurassic park spot were the best. The guide was very nice and friendly. He's very knowledgeable of the place. He knows the history quite well. We had plenty of time to take pictures throughout the tour. I greatly recommend it.
Our driver was very good, he provided a lot of background history of the ranch and all the activities that had taken place there. We stopped at a couple of movies locations for photo ops. Excellent tour really enjoyed. it.
