Paris was a busy place in the 19th century, and the public wanted to know everything that was going on. Journalist Arthur Meyer (1844-1917) came up with the idea of creating life-size, three-dimensional models of the people who made the headlines in the famous daily paper "Le Gaulois". Meyer's idea was simple: to create a place where the public could walk through a setting peopled with wax figures. It was an instant success!

Discover a completely renovated Grevin Wax Museum. Experience the spirit of Paris of yesterday and today with scenes from the major events of the 20th century, French history and the latest news. See the brasserie, the theatre, artists' studios - all the legendary Parisian haunts where you will rub shoulders with the "Tout Paris" celebrities. Three hundred wax figures are waiting to meet you, to be photographed with you and be remembered forever.

The Grevin's free discovery tour reveals the well-kept secrets of making wax celebrities! After meeting Louis XIV, Mozart, Jean Reno, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more, children can have fun finding out how all those wax figures are made.

The line for w tickets or voucher was just as long as the line wo them. I liked having mmt tickets/ voucher in hand early bc things sell out. We did a day trip and the museum is a hot tourist spot. Very crowded but we enjoyed it.

We enjoyed the wax museum very much. All the wax figures looked so very real. It was amazing how real they really looked. I would recommend going thru the museum.

Some of the wax figures looked incredibly real, however, there were a few that just wasn't great. But overall its an interesting experience.

its good but in comparison to Madame Tussaud its nothing, there is not alot of the characters and famous celebrities. the place is so small and doesnt worth the visit
