Rescue Diver Course
1 day
Om denne aktiviteten
The SDI or PADI Rescue Diver course is consistently mentioned by participants and instructors as the course which brings the most enjoyment. If you are already an Advanced Open Water diver then this is a good option for your next level of training. It is also the next step to opening up the possibility of a professional career in diving by becoming a Divemaster. This three day course teaches you firstly how to avoid many of the potential difficulties divers very occasionally find themselves in and secondly, how to safely deal with those situations should they arise. It is a demanding course when conducted by Blue Life, but possibly the most fun and rewarding diving course you will ever take. The first part of your in-water training takes part in a pool or similar confined water (such as a cenote or shallow area from the beach) and initially involves reminders of how to keep yourself safe while diving. You will then move on to learn many techniques for dealing with tired or distressed divers at the surface and underwater. On the final day, you will go into open water, either into the ocean or to one of the many suitable cenotes in the area, where you will encounter a mock rescue situation and you will draw on many of the skills you have previously mastered to deal with this scenario. Some of the topics we will cover are: Self rescue Recognizing and managing stress in other divers Emergency management and equipment Rescuing panicked divers Rescuing unresponsive divers
