Catalina Island tour and Scuba Diving Full Day

Catalina Island, is recognized as one of the best snorkeling and scuba diving destination in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. SeaPro Divers Catalina Island Excursion is an exciting island day getaway adventure tour that includes the option of Scuba Diving or Snorkeling at Catalina Island. A short 1.5 hour drive from Punta Cana, the picturesque island of Catalina offers visitors striking coral reef formation, tropical fish, and postcard perfect beaches.

We will begin our tour with a drive to La Romana’s Marina. Upon arrival at La Romana, customers will then board a comfortable two story catamaran and depart the Marina towards our first stop, “the Wall”.

Once we arrive at Catalina Island, scuba divers will have a briefing from their divemaster prior to scuba diving at “The Wall.” The tour guide will provide snorkelers with snorkeling equipment and instruct how to use the equipment in the colorful coral reefs. Once both divers and snorkelers are done exploring the coral reefs, we will have a scenic ride across the island until our arrival at an exclusive private beach club; located in the most beautiful beach. Here snorkelers will have time to enjoy some tranquil beach time, shore snorkel in the crystalline Caribbean waters, or simply enjoy a tropical cocktail. Divers will continue to their underwater adventures and prepare for their second scuba dive at “the Aquarium.” Our second dive spot is an enjoyable dive where divers may encounter Dominican lobsters, yellow stingrays and moray eels. After the second dive, scuba divers will return to the private beach club on the island.

At around 13:30 the cook will prepare a delicious Dominican style BBQ lunch. Guests will have 1 hour of free time after lunch to relax and sunbathe while enjoying the tropical landscape. Approximately around 15:00 hour, we will board the catamaran to make our way back to Punta Cana. The friendly entertainment staff will add some spice to the Catalina tour and teach merengue lessons, marking the end of an incredible day in paradise!
