Kokk for en dag – matlagingskurs i Roma
5 h
Klasse

We thoroughly enjoyed our day from start to finish, Chef Alessandri and his team were so passionate, helpful and we had a lot of fun - whilst learning how to make the most incredible food! Thank you for making our first visit to Rome both fun and educational, we can’t wait to replicate the recipes at home!!
I had such a nice time with Chef Alessandri, making pasta and other dishes. It was my last day in Rome, and definitely my best. We had lots to eat, along with wine. My personal best was the tomato sauce pasta - totally different from any other tomato sauce pasta I've ever had, and the gnocchi. I also got to learn many tips in cooking, which I could use in my other dishes. If you like Italian food, even if you are not so much into cooking, I would definitely recommend this cooking class it will change what you think of Italian food. Also, it is the best thing to do before your long flight back home - no need for not-so-tasty in-flight meals! I would so much like to do another class if I return to Italy, especially in his new place in Umbria.
Chef Alessandri was an amazing teacher with insights into cooking that kept me interested and involved throughout the day. He explained the chemistry of cooking the dishes as well as how to enhance the taste to the max. He shared little tricks to make the most of your time and utensils in the Kitchen. He was friendly and fun to be around. I am a good cook and still learned a lot. I highly recommend the Chef’s class for all skill levels. I will return for another class.
This class was awesome! One of the best experiences of my trip. Chef Federico definitely knows what he's talking about. All of the food was amazing and the class was so much fun. I would 100 recommend this class!
This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable experiences I have had. My entire family loved it and Chef Alessandri is the main reason, as well as his assistants. We started the day in the Rialto market and discussed what people were interested in cooking and we walked around the market gathering the items. We then proceeded to his kitchen/dining area in Trastevere and spent the entire day learning, laughing eating and drinking. There were 8 people in our group and we had some good cooks in our group, including a young chef from Malta who was mesmerized by Chef Alessandri. We all learned some amazing things and got our hands dirty making the different dishes. The dishes that we eventually ate were incredible and some of the special things the Chef prepared were better than most of the food we ate at some of the top restaurants in Rome. I would strongly suggest that if you are interested in a cooking class that this is the only one in Rome you should consider. Chef Alessandri will not only amaze you with his cooking, but he will have you laughing and feeling like you are sharing a meal with friends, which to me is really the point of this type of tour.
Chef Federico was great. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and put together a 5 Course lunch/dinner. He took his time and shared a lot of secrets. The only negative experience was when at the end he started to tell us stories about other tourists who did not tip him. Unfortunately this took away a bit from the experience for us.
This was anything but a typical Italian cooking class. Chef Alessandro is a professional and you can see that he enjoys cooking and sharing his methods. We went to each market/ store for our fresh ingredients and then back to his studio kitchen for a hands-on day of cooking 5 different dishes, from appetizers to pastas and sauces, meat course and dessert. He shared not only his recipes but also his knowledge of food, different ingredients and ways to use them, plating techniques and enthusiasm for cooking. We then ate what we made, along with wine of course, and it tasted amazing! Not only did he send us the recipes we used, but we also took home the confidence to experiment and be creative in our own kitchens. Great experience!
