Not what we expected. Did not get to stop at Golden Gate for photo op. Driver had knowledge did not stick to subject.

First, Muir Woods does not allow guided tours within the park - this is actually great, because it keeps the park quiet so you can enjoy how breathtaking it is in peace. We ended up with 1 hour and 20 minutes inside the park, which was the perfect amount of time to walk the main loop, catch the best sights, and hit the gift shop. When we booked we were concerned that wouldn't be long enough, but was just right. Specific to this tour - we could not imagine having a better tour guide than Patrick! Our trips to and from Muir Woods were highly entertaining and educational. He clearly knew a great deal about San Francisco, Sausalito, and Muir Woods. We didn't expect his additional knowledge of local music and movie history, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the tour. Patrick was hilarious, informative, and helpful. Book the morning tour, catch the sun rays gleaming through the tree branches, then stay later in Sausalito for the fare and shops - you won't regret it!

The tour was great - Muir woods is beautiful and the tour gives time to wander round ourselves! The bus we were on was very bouncy but the tour guide was great and had something to see at every turn in the road. Sausalito is a very nice town and the views from the harbour are definitely worth seeing

I really enjoyed hiking through Muir Woods. It was very peaceful and serene, almost majestic even.
