Stop At: Mount Rainier National Park, WA 98304

Experience the wonder and majesty of World-Famous Mt. Rainier! This is definitely a 'Must See' while on your vacation to Seattle, as well as for new residents and all others who enjoy the wonders of nature!

Standing at: 14,411 feet tall, Mt. Rainier is the highest mountain in Washington State and one of the tallest in the United States. Surrounding this Active (although currently dormant) Volcano are 25 massive glaciers, layers of snow and ice. Thick, Evergreen Forests, meadows, waterfalls, an abundant animal population and many smaller mountains also surround Mt. Rainier's Ecosystem.

Skip the crowded tour bus experience offered by our competitors and relax in this small-group tour as you kick back in a comfortable, spacious van. Less people also = less stops at pickup/dropoff and a more tailored experience with your guide. For your comfort, we stop twice for restroom / snack / stretch breaks during both our drive to the mountain and our return trip home. In addition, we limit reservations to 2 passengers per 3 passenger bench seat, so you have room to ride comfortably, to stretch out and stow your personal items.

You can bring your own lunch, purchase snacks / a meal at the Paradise Jackson Visitor Center or at one of our stops along the way.

Once at the visitor center, you'll have plenty of time to venture off on your own to experience the various paths to scenic viewpoints and browse through the Interpretive Center's Offerings of exhibits and displays. You can also remain with your friendly guide for a narrative experience.

Once we conclude our day at Mt. Rainier, we'll head back into Seattle where you can resume your evening.

One of my favorite tours so far, during my 3 week trip on the west coast (one week seeing each west coast state!) Most of the other tours I have taken involve riding in stinky, over-crowded tour buses. This one was just me and 2 other people riding in a nice clean SUV. We were fed fruit and muffins and vitamin water for breakfast, learned all kinds of interesting information about Washington State and arrived at the National Park after about a couple hour drive. I've seen photos of Mount Rainier before, but it was nothing compared to looking straight up at in in person. Words can't describe. This tour should be on everyone's bucket list!
