Tread in the footsteps of the convicts, larrikin gangs and locals of the past as you share a drink in 4 of Sydney's oldest pubs. Between watering holes, your guide will take you through the alleys and cobbled streets of The Rocks, Sydney's historic area, as they share the gossip, shouts and stories of Australia's first European settlement.

An excellent way to see the oldest part of Sydney. Greg was a funny and informative host and our fellow pub crawlers were very congenial. The historic pubs were interesting. Oh yes, the beer was excellent also.

Great tour and tour guide - he was very knowledgeable about beer and the history of the rocks if you are a wine lover this is not the tour for you even though you can get wine instead of beer - the chardonnay was all the same and not very good. And be aware that the walking portion is up and down hills, stairs and at a fast pace. With the heat and humidity of Sydney, even during the 6:30pm evening tour, the walking portion was very strenuous.

Lot's of fun with a neat guide and interesting places to go. Could have used a food stop along the way, but a good way to see some alternate places and find some new pubs.

I can highly recommend Dave's Pub Walks and Tours. Our guide for the day was Paul and he was very knowledgeable on The Rocks the area, as well as the beer. I was in a small group with Paul and two others and did the 2:30pm tour on a Sunday afternoon. The weather was lovely which only made this type of tour even more perfect! You spend 2.5hrs walking round The Rocks area and take in four historic pubs on route. There is a good selection of beer in each pub and this is included in the price of the tour. We went in some great pubs and even got to go 'behind the scenes' at one of them and learn about Sydney's more darker past! A great tour if you are travelling on your own, with friends, work colleagues or family.
