The Dalongdong Baoan Temple was established some 260 years ago in 1742, and is ranked as the second historic relics by the Ministry of Interior. The main deity is Baosheng Dadi (also named Dadaugong). Every year, on March 15 in lunar calendar, Dalongdong Baoan Temple will hold a series of folk art feast activities for celebrating its main deity’s birthday. Now it has became a magnificent ‘Baosheng Cultural Festival’ in Taiwan, featuring the unique folk arts and celebration activities of Taiwan.

Yes! This trip was great! My tour guy Jeff Or Jeffrey I forgot was awesome! He was very patient and nice to me the entire trip. He was knowledgeable in explaining everything to me mixing Chinese and English. Anything that he didn't know he will go and ask and find out so we both know the answer. It started raining the 2nd half of the day but he ensure that we visited all the awesome temples by the end of the tour which was really my main point of the trip. He was very energetic and sincere. I had a great time touring the city with him. He is definitely a great tour guide for sure!
