The pickup tickets were too far from the Doge Museum. It was better to fall in line to purchase tickets rather than looking where to pick up the tickets.

We went past the line and right in - this was my favorite part of Venice! Just be sure to leave time to pick up the tickets and guide book from inside the Museo Musica, since it's a few minute walk from there to Doge's Palace.
