Start your trip with a hotel pick-up at the pre-arranged time. Sit back in luxury Mercedes and admire scenery of Austrian countryside as you cross the border into Slovakia. Upon arrival, meet your experienced local guide for a walking tour.Admire the monuments of the Old Town, such as St.Michal’s Gate and Tower- the city gate that ranks among the oldest town buildings. St.Michael’s Tower is the last remaining of the city gates from the medieval fortifications. Local guide witll take you to St.Martin’s Cathedral where 11 Hungarian kings and quenns were crowned between 1536 and 2830.

Afterwards, continue to the Rococo-style Grassalkovich Palace-the residence of the president of Slovakia. Grassalkovich Palace is the 18-th century social spot for Hungarian aristocracy. Admire Primate’s Palace, as many people say, the most beautiful buildings in Bratislava.

The 6 of us were picked up promptly by Andrew and he was very informative and pleasant throughout our time with him, however when the time came for us to pick up the local tour guide and proceed with the rest of the tour, things went down hill. For some strange reason our tour guide was in a grumpy mood and got of on a bad start with Andrew. We somewhat felt overwhelmed with all the harsh grumpy statements and comments the tour guide was making. Not having a clue what was going on between our driver and the local guide. But definitely suffered the brunt of all the negative energy which was going on within the Van ! The local tour on foot was done hurriedly with the guide shooting of facts about Bratislava like she was reading hurriedly from a guide book or something ! Long story short, it definitely was not the best tour we had throughout the 3 weeks we were in Europe !

Andrew was out driver. He was fantastic. He picked us up on time and was very pleasant and entertaining. When we arrived at Bratislava we met our Guide Jana and she was great as well. She had very good knowledge. We had free time to explore the town as well. Thoroughly recommend the tour and a big thank you to Andrew our driver who made the trip fun.
