In addition to Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Christoph Willibald Gluck made their contribution to world music. The noble family Auersperg and the Swedish royal family Vasa also made political commitments at the Palais Auersperg and established their aristocratic splendor with lavish festivities. Today the Palais Auersperg and the Vienna Residence Orchestra is managed by Sylvia Moser, who enriches Vienna’s cultural life with these two institutions.
