Stop At: Safari Gastefarm Dusternbrook, - S 22°16'214'' E16°54'069'', Windhoek Namibia
Collection for this activity is between 13h30 - 14h00.
The drive from Windhoek is approximately 1hour through to Durstenbrook Guest Farm. On arrival, you will join the Cats Unlimited drive, where you will have the chance to come into close proximity with both cheetah & leopard. Here you enter the large enclosures of these cats in an open vehicle, and have the chance to view them in their natural habitats whilst they are being fed. Please note that these are not pets, or tamed animals, but are kept in enclosures due to their inability to fend for themselves in the wild.
From here, you return to the lodge, before heading out on a game drive throughout the farm. Durstenbrook itself is huge, and the drive offers the opportunity to spot anything from huge herds of wildebeest, springbok to kudu, oryx, giraffe, before a visit to the dam where you can check out the resident hippo family wallowing in the mud.
On return from the game drive we return to Windhoek, and you will be dropped off at your accommodation between 19h30 - 20h00
