Stop At: Muslim Quarter, West of Bell Drum Towers Square , Beilin District, Xi'an 710000 China

Tour starts at 6 pm. Your English-speaking local guide will meet you from your hotel within the ancient City Wall or designated meeting point at Bell Tower Hotel (if your hotel is not within the ancient City Wall, please arrange your own transportation to the meeting point).

Pass through local streets and alleys, your guide will escort you to taste local snacks in the eateries where only locals go. Enjoy various local specialties, experience local lifestyle, explore the markets and pedestrian streets, and chat with your guide to gain more knowledge of the history and culture of Xi’an. Approximately 4 to 5 authentic tasting locations will be arranged. Your itinerary might slightly change in different season or other circumstances but you will surely have a memorable gourmet experience escorted by your local guide.

Afterwards, the evening gourmet experience will conclude at a convenient location within the ancient city wall for you to return to hotel by yourself.

First off and despite repeated requests Viator failed to confirm the meeting point, so we went to the meeting point within the city wall. The guide went to our hotel. A late start which lasted less than two hours and not the four hours paid for. You see the word Gourmet and fine dining in class restaurants with good wine comes to mind. This was not the case, just street food in the muslim quarter where there are no health and hygiene regulations. Never did see the Tuk-Tuk and the only drink we were offered was water. Dropped and hint about moving on and was taken on the metro the only good experience of the evening instead of starting our fine dining experience we were escorted to our hotel. Advice when in China - stay away from food tours
