Stop At: Zagreb Cathedral, Kaptol, Zagreb Croatia
The Zagreb Cathedral on Kaptol is a Roman Catholic institution and not only the tallest building in Croatia but also the most monumental sacral building in Gothic style southeast of the Alps. It is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and to kings Saint Stephen and Saint Ladislaus. The cathedral is typically Gothic, as is its sacristy, which is of great architectural value. Its prominent spires are considered to be landmarks as they are visible from most parts of the city.

Stop At: Porta di Pietra (Kamenita Vrata), Zagreb 10000 Croatia
Stone Gate (Kamenita Vrata) is one of the more noteworthy landmarks of the Upper Town of Zagreb. It was built in the 13th century, and got its present look in the 18th century. There was a fire in this area a few centuries ago and they found the portrait of Mary not damaged in the rubble. The portrait of Mary was hung on the wall and for centuries people come to pray in this location. If their prayers were answered they would place a plaque on the wall to show their thanks.

Zagreb's Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is a network of little streets that stretch between two hills: Kaptol and Gradec. First settled in the 11th century, it is the oldest part of Zagreb with 17th and 18th-century buildings lining narrow, winding streets. The Upper Town is a delightful place to explore and hosts some of Zagreb's most interesting museums, restaurants, bars, and cafes.

The Lotrščak Tower is a fortified tower located in Zagreb, Croatia, in an old part of town called Gradec or Gornji grad (Upper Town). The tower, which dates to the 13th century, was built to guard the southern gate of the Gradec town wall. The name is derived from Latin campana latrunculorum, meaning "thieves' bell", referring to a bell hung in the tower in 1646 to signal the closing of the town gates.

Dino did such a great job giving us a gentle walking tour if the city broken by food and wine breaks. We enjoyed ourselves so much despite the jetlag from traveling from Asia and US in our group.
Our group of 6 went on this tour with Ivana and we cannot fault the experience. Ivana was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic in her approach. The pace suited the group as it was not too fast or too slow. She kept us engaged and interested in what she was conveying to us.
Ivana Curic is awesome!!! The food at most of the locations was pretty good. I think the tour operator needs to find some better alternatives for the food. the main course was somewhat disappointing as mentioned bu all of the 12 members of our group. the wine was great and overall this was a good deal. One tip - do this at the beginning of your trip to Zagreb - Ivana has so much knowledge of the city that it will help you navigate the rest of your trip.
Great tour, lots of walking and if you have issues with stairs let the guide know. Lots of great history about Zagreb and great food and wine. We had a group of 8 and they were all great fun. Guide had great knowledge about Zagreb and Croatia. Would highly recommend.
Ivana was an excellent tour guide - it is because of her and everything she showed us that we are going to plan another trip to Zagreb. I can’t enough about how gracious and wonderful the Croation people are.....sign up for this tour you will not be sorry
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia. My husband is a chef and I like to think of myself as a foodie. Not only was all the food and wine delicious, but our guide Ivana, was delightful and gave us some great history and information about the area as we walked from place to place. She even took the time to WhatsApp me prior to the tour to make sure we knew where to meet, and at the end of our trip to ask if we made it home safely! It was great to learn about croatian food and culture from a local who shared some of her personal experiences growing up in Croatia. The tour was fantastic and we highly recommend it!
